Sodium Bicarbonate (aka Baking Soda) is great for teeth whitening because when it comes in contact with water, it forms an alkaline solution which releases free radicals that help in teeth whitening. It is also proven to prevent tooth decay, cavity formation and gum diseases.

Calcium Carbonate is a mild abrasive that helps to safely remove plaque while gently polishing away surface stains. It also helps to strengthen the teeth by supplying it with essential calcium.

Xylitol inhibits the growth of harmful oral bacteria such as S. mutans, but its benefits do not stop in the oral cavity. By promoting healthy saliva production, remineralisation is encouraged by the transport of essential molecules.

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate is a safe and gentle surfactant (cleaning agent), derived from coconut oil, that works very well in skin cleansers, body wash and oral products to gently foam.

Easy To Use

Pop one tab in your mouth, chew it up completely, and then begin brushing with a wet toothbrush to make your tooth tabs foam up into a paste. Brush for 2 minutes as normal, then spit.

When you receive your tooth tabs, empty them into an airtight jar, and pop the compostable pouch into your garden or compost. Voila!

How do tooth tabs work?

Our tooth tabs are super easy to use - just pop one in your mouth, chew it up, and begin brushing with a wet toothbrush. The tab will foam up into a delicious paste that you can spit out after 2 minutes, just like you would with regular toothpaste. Voila! 

Are your products suitable for sensitive teeth?

Yes! Our tooth tabs are specifically formulated to reduce sensitivity and strengthen enamel. We recommend opting for our fluoridated tooth tabs and pairing them with our nHAp Mouthwash Drops, for maximum sensitivity-busting!

What's *not* in your products?

You shouldn't have to stand in the supermarket aisle for 20 minutes trying to figure out what the heck 'CI77891' is.

Are tooth tabs safe for children?

We recommend introducing tooth tabs to children once they are able to chew and spit properly - you can even give them half a tab to begin with. Tooth tabs are ideal for kids because they're mess-free, perfectly portioned and contain only natural ingredients. Yay!

Umm... can't I just recycle my toothpaste tube?

Unfortunately, we can't recycle our way out of the plastic problem.

Did you know that plastic cannot be recycled, only downcycled?

Unlike glass or aluminium, plastic loses quality when recycled: it has a limited lifecycle. New plastic needs to be mixed with the 'old' plastic to create a new bottle or tube.

Plastic can only be downcycled 2-3 times before eventually ending up in landfill. The thing about plastic is that once plastic is created, it remains plastic forever.

It never decomposes, biodegrades or becomes something else over time. It just breaks up into smaller pieces (known as microplastics) that get tinier and tinier - making its way into our waterways, food supplies and ecosystems. The pieces of plastic become so tiny that they're not even perceptible to the human eye.
